Their Teppanyaki chefs cook dishes in front of diners in a restaurant hung with traditional lanterns. All customers have their own highly trained personal chef for the meal. The food is delivered to you sizzling fresh. Fujiyama's menu is extensive, accommodating both carnivores and herbivores. Many customers opt for one of their set banquets, which are perfectly compiled to leave a pleasant feeling of satisfaction, not too much or too little. They have high chairs for the customer's kids.

WAGAMAMA NEWCASTLE ELDON SQUARE REVIEWS

First time eating at the Asian-Inspired Wagamamas in Newcastle and found the staff to be even sweeter than the Matcha-Strawberry Latte (in all the right ways). I was surprised to learn it was Jose's second shift. She was an absolute delight and whoever gave the go ahead for their hiring can tell a good soul when they see one. Canny little spot.

Good food, nice ambiance and the best service. Special mention to David one hell of guy. Enjoyed my date night with my wife. Recommend A+. Never miss beef brisket ramen.

Great food and atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a laid back dining experience as food sometimes comes at different times and it’s bench seating kind of school cafeteria style rather than separate tables so maybe not everyone’s cup of tea but I love it!

FUJIYAMA REVIEWS

Brilliant for groups, probably the bigger the better. We were just under 20 around two of the hot plates and weren’t too snug. It’s a good bit of craic with the chefs. Definitely recommend getting a pot of green tea to help pace you if you’re drinking as it’s a lush palate cleanser between the tapas-sized servings that are served straight to your plate. Dietary restrictions: Allergies and dietary restrictions were asked about in booking and at seating. Chef made sure to know who had the mild allergy straight away. I assume the dishes had been adjusted.

Absolutely amazing! Couldn’t fault anything. You get fantastic food made by incredibly skilled chefs, who you can tell love doing their job by interacting happily with their customers and put on a bit of a show. Can’t wait to go again!

Excellent meal for a birthday celebration. We all got the Royale set meal, absolute bargain, plenty of top class food, the chef was great fun engaging everyone at the table making it a very special night. Highly recommended.

The first time here, I opted for the sea food and meat set menu (not a big sea food fan), from start to fininsh to service was excellent. The food was amazing. I really enjoyed the lobster as the chef cooks and presents it in a way you can just enjoy it without all the messing about it. Egge fried rice was the best I've ever had, loved the free shots before we left, truly love this place, can't wait to get back.

Fantastic atmosphere and great to see the food cooked infront of you and to be involved with it. The steak was slightly overcooked, but not enough for me to rate this place less than 5 stars. We are already looking forward to going back.

I dined at Hanahana for a birthday celebration and loved the experience. The food was tasty and the showmanship of the chef was entertaining. It is a place that is well-suited to celebratory events.
