DABBAWAL HIGH BRIDGE REVIEWS
One of my two favourite Indian restaurants in Newcastle! I've been a couple of times and the food has always been delicious. Great vegetarian options, though I tend to stick to the thali - which is amazing - but I'll definitely be branching out next time I go!
We are tourists in the Toon and Dabbawal came iup highly in ratings so we booked ahead. Glad we did on a Wednesday night as it was busy. We chose to have our food come all at once but next time would choose to spread it out. We had onion bhajiis nice and spicy. Deep fried okra mega crispy. Loved it! 3 delicious lamb chops, perfection and naan bread. My husband had chicken tikka. Bottles of Cobra. The bill came to £62.00. Well worth it.
What a fantastic meal we had. We opted for the suggested '3 dish tasters' (2 of us, so had 3 tasters each) with additional rice and nan bread. Great portions and what wonderful flavours we experienced. I eat out quite a lot, and this place stood out in my experience.

MY DELHI NEWCASTLE REVIEWS
We loved every bit of the food here, it was unreal. The Afghan kebab is a must try, everything is reasonably priced, and we loved how everything you order comes out all at once. A feast for us to celebrate my partners birthday. Will definitely be back at some point! Staff were so friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were lovely as-well.
I cannot reccommend this place enough! Amazing authentic taste directly out of India with lovely service! Special shout out to our waiter Nilesh who was always helpful with a smile and made our experience even better! Try the cauliflower and bhadji starters which we all loved while all the mains were exceptional as well. Garlic naan is a must to complete your experience.
We ate here on Saturday afternoon, the food was amazing and the staff so attentive too. It was son’s birthday and they made his day with a card! We will definitely be returning.

SIMLA RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Amazing place me and my girlfriend recently stumbled across on our way home from a disappointing visit to another local restaurant. Tiny place but it looks bigger thanks to all the mirrors. Very smart and clean looking. Service was exemplary and very friendly, not pushy at all. I had the scallops to start and the chicken chettinad. Very hot but tasted amazing. My girlfriend had the gunpowder prawns and the chicken madras. The bill was roughly what we expected considering what we had to eat and drink. Highly recommended.
My mum and I had a terrific Sunday night meal at Simla. Nice place to be. The food was terrific- delicately flavoured & spiced. Not a bit greasy. Nice selection of vegetarian dishes for mum. Will def return if/when we next come to Newcastle! Thank you.
Loved this place. Beautiful interior and excellent service. Food was amazing and pretty decent value for money. A local taxi driver had recommended the lamb biryani and it was absolutely delicious. The dishes being served to other diners also looked equally amazing and the fact that the place was a full on a Sunday evening tells you how good this place is. Would highly recommend a visit.
