Speciality:
“The Broad Chare is a refurbished pub with an oak bar, painted brick walls, stripped wood floors and an upstairs dining room. The pub offers a variety of food and beer. They frequently change guest ales on hand pull and have beers on tap, and their spirit shelves are filled with an extensive selection of gins, whiskies, and rums. Their own-label house ale, “The Writer’s Block,” is a delightful dry-hopped pale ale crafted by Great North Eastern Brewery. This is designed to complement their famous bar snacks perfectly. The Broad Chare serves 14 wines by the glass to suit most tastes, and they have a list containing wines from around the world, with their cellar selection focusing on the Old World and an ever-changing inventory of clarets.
