“St Walburge's Church is a Grade I listed building constructed in the mid-19th century. The architect Joseph Hansom designed the church in Gothic Revival architecture. St Walburge's Church welcomes people from all over the community to attend prayers, worship, and events to deepen their understanding of faith and devotion to God. The church's beautiful interior is well worth a look if you are in the area. The church offers pastoral care for those interested in learning the Catholic Church's traditional Latin liturgy. St Walburge's Church also provides free guided tours every Saturday from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm.

Beautiful church, very welcoming and fascinating to read about and the history of the church. Really one of the most beautiful places to go and see in Preston. The rose window is absolutely beautiful and quite a pleasant walk from the city centre. The people welcoming at the door were happy to welcome me. The spire was open to book to see the top but I didn’t have time - maybe in the future. Tickets in advance on eventbrite to go up the spire.

A beautiful church that is definitely worth visiting and spending time to take in the grandeur of the architecture. I was also fortunate to climb the 172 steps of the spiral staircase and see the amazing views of Preston. Well worth the small price to pay and would definitely recommend anyone to do this.

Friendly people welcomed us to this beautiful building. The tour was interesting and informative. If you're in Preston visit St Walburge's.

Such a lovely catholic Church. A very wonderful atmosphere to worship. Really enjoyed last Sunday's 10.15am mass. Was a Nigerian Mass, & the choir performed marvelously well. I'm so happy I was here. Can't wait to worship here again.

Got an opportunity to visit the church and to attend holy mass. Blessed moments with a blessed priest. The adoration held in the chapel was mind relaxing. Wish to visit more frequently.

Beautiful and so peaceful amidst the urban hubbub. Say a prayer for peace of you visit to marvel at the European marble or the other lovely parts of this building.

VALLEY CHURCH REVIEWS

Valley Church is a warm and welcoming friendly place. It is accommodating for additional needs for mobility disabilities and for food intolerances. There's a wide selection of things available and the staff and people in there are welcoming, friendly, and some of the nicest people in bamber bridge.

I have been going to valley for about 6 years and have been made to feel welcome the staff are very helpful too. The praise and worship band is wonderful and excellent bible teaching too.

The breakfast is excellent, the coffee delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended
