“The Chambers has a classic London Gentlemen’s Club style, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is bigger inside than it looks, seating over 100 people. Upstairs, there are two private dining areas connected by a roof terrace, perfect for weddings, parties, or corporate events. Enjoy a sophisticated lounge/bar for wines, all-day dining, high tea, and great cocktails. Outdoor seating is also available. Their menu changes with the seasons and caters to most tastes, including vegetarian and vegan options. They use mostly local suppliers and freshly prepare all food on site to reduce the carbon footprint. They serve draught lager, pale ale, and Guinness on a special surger unit. Their extensive spirits list includes over 40 gins, 22 vodkas, and a wide range of dark spirits. For warmer days, there’s seating at the front, a courtyard garden at the back, and a roof terrace. In winter, the lighting, candles, and cosy atmosphere make dining a special experience.

Just wanted to share what a delight it was in this particular Toby Carvery. Me and my partner had such a terrible experience in another branch. So it was really nice to have the complete opposite in this one. The service was really good. The staff were friendly. Cannot fault them at all. The food was absolutely lovely. We both had a king size carvery each. The guy behind the counter, carving up the meat was really friendly and chatty. As was another chef who brought out fresh veg. Everything was freshly cooked. Really hot and tasted amazing! We both left incredibly stuffed! We would highly recommend this particular branch!

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Good with all ages. Great atmosphere. Great food, much cheaper than many eating places. When I come to see my sister she always asks to go there. Vegetarian options: I simply had the macaroni cheese and much veg. It's good that there's separate gravy for veggies and separately cooked roast potatoes. My sister had a good helping of the turkey which was very tender.

Even though it was fathers day and we turned up without booking they found a table for the 6 of us. The staff were helpful and attentive and service was fast, despite the place being so busy. The carvery was good, large choice of vegetables and the meat was well cooked, unlike some places I've been where the meat has been rather dry and chewy.

HARVESTER PORT SOLENT PORTSMOUTH REVIEWS

The harvester at port solent has great views of the marina with plenty of parking available, there is a short walk from the car park to the restaurant. I had a full English breakfast with unlimited tea, it seems they no longer offer the unlimited breakfast but the breakfast was still substantial, tasty and good value for money. The staff were very friendly and checked in on me to ensure the food was to my liking and to keep my tea topped up. I have had evening meals here in the past and have always had a positive experience. A must visit on a nice sunny day, a walk around port Solent after your meal is always nice and there are some good bars too.

I enjoyed the salads and sauces from the salad bar. I could eat two plates. After the salad I enjoyed a chicken skewer with nice big chunks of meat. The people who served us were very friendly and helpful and you do not pay too much. It's also a nice place for families with children.

Had the chicken skewers and rice with chips and onion rings. The food was delicious and a help yourself salad bar with bread rolls. Friendly and helpful waitress. Highly recommend. Lovely view overlooking harbour.

Undoubtedly 5* service, food and atmosphere. Sam and his team went above and beyond to make my graduation lunch memorable and special for myself and my family. Their customer service was exceptional and the service was attentive, thorough and faultless. The food exceeded expectations and the pre-ordered set menu catered for all preferences. Sam greeted us all with a complementary glass of Prosecco for myself and my family and had a lovely surprise for myself as a graduate. Thank you to everyone at the Chambers for making my day so special, couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate with my family.

Went for a Sunday Roast. Portions were huge and very tasty and the deserts were spot on. Unfortunately the usual vegan option was not available so the chef cooked a custom meal for me which was very tasty. The staff were super friendly and very attentive. They went above and beyond for my elderly mother law. Definitely recommend a visit.

Have just spent a lovely afternoon at The Chambers. Service was excellent from our waitress Bianca. She has a great personality with a lovely manner! Highly recommended.
