I visited with my international students — it was their first time trying fish and chips, and they absolutely loved it! The portion size was great; I just about managed to finish mine. The place is located by the beachfront, so when the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the patio. That said, as we experienced, UK weather can be unpredictable! We were glad to sit inside, where it was warm and comfortable. This place is great all year round. The staff were incredibly kind and looked after my students, my colleague, and me so well???? My husband and I both really enjoyed our meals here. There are tables outside and inside. We ordered at the counter and they brought our food to us when it was ready. The fish was flaky and delicious and the chips were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is right on the beach and easy to get to down the stairs.

The cod and chips are just awesome! Brixton IPA is good and the Vanilla Milkshake is a must-drink!! The location is good, sitting outside is romantic, sitting inside ia cozy.

Bankers is our go-to spot for fish and chips when in Brighton. A 2 minute walk from the beach front allows you to eat your food on the beach while it is hot and fresh. Fish was noticeably fresh and fried to perfection - crispy on outside, soft and flaky on the inside. Chips were also fresh and dipped perfectly in the house curry sauce and mushy peas. Counter service was informative and friendly, and gave us everything we needed for a beach meal.

So, so good. I won't go anywhere else if I can avoid it. Incredible deals available and the nicest servers ever. Very quick service, I only wanted two chips and managed to skip a queue of large families. We love the vegan options so thank you for those in particular! We'll continue coming here for many years.
