Service, service, service! What an absolutely wonderful experience in both friendliness, speed and quality! We had a party of 10 on a sunny Saturday. A difficult one to find a spot by the seafront - the chances of going anywhere for lunch were super slim, but we gave The Regency a go as we had various different ages and dietary requirements! The place is super popular and looked busy - packed outside - but we through to ask anyway. A super friendly waiter came over and confirmed they did have a table! Seated and dined quickly but not rushed at all - friendly waiters, chatty and welcoming - we were well attended to even though the place was busy! Food wise - the fish most of us had was super light, really flakey and fresh fish, light and not greasy batter. Chips were nicely fried and again, not greasy - just fresh, light and full of great flavours! The party - some who are a little picky - were all happy and definitely well fed! Didn’t really need to have dinner after If it looks busy, just pop in and ask! It was around £20 odd per head including drinks, with most dishes from about £13-15 in total. Not the cheapest but worth the price methinks! Definitely worth the 5 stars on all accounts :) will hope to be back again sometime - Thanks for having us.

A lovely Brighton beach restaurant. Lovely seaside view. Friendly and attentive staff. Fast service. We each had a fish and chips. Fish batter was not super thick (pleasantly surprised) and the chips were hot and a good size. Lovely to sit in the sun and enjoy a meal. Lovely restaurant and if you are on the Brighton beachfront and want fish & chips - I would recommend this spot.

An excellent place to dine. The food was high quality and reasonable costs. A good selection of gluten free items were available on the menu. I ordered gluten free battered haddock and chips with mushy peas. The staff have fantastic character. even though they are clearly run off their feet with the popularity of the restaurant, they were still efficient, helpful, and friendly. They gave good advice regarding the gluten free options. Once ordered our drinks and food arrived in good time. The potions were good sized and worth the money. My friend and I both had a soft drink, battered haddock, chips, and mushy peas. My friend additionally ordered battered onion rings. The entire bill including service charge totalled just over £60. It was reasonable for the quality of food, service and portion. We were not hurried to order or to eat and go. For fish and chips on the sea front in Brighton, this is a definite recommendation.

The restaurant is lovely, right across the road from the seafront, and has a nice smart but comfortable vibe. The food is all delicious and incredibly high quality - the best seafood I've had in the UK. You do pay for the quality though. If you plan on three courses plus drinks you can expect to easily spend £70 per person. So it's not a regular night out but it's a great treat especially if you like shellfish and other seafood.

We were visiting Brighton on vacation and were looking for a nice restaurant to help celebrate my birthday dinner. The Salt Rooms' ambiance and styling were perfect. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, great location and our waiter (a French gentleman) provided superior service. He was patient and very informative about the options offered on the menu as well as the specials. I believe his name was Franck. Kudos to Franck for making our dining experience such a wonderful event.

This was my first visit to Brighton, and being by the seaside, I had to try some seafood. This place is conveniently located right across the beach. I made a reservation for lunch, and wow, it did not disappoint. I tried the seafood platter called "Surf Board," which was excellent and very fulfilling. The clams, seemingly cooked in wine with a garlicky, buttery taste, were a highlight. The starters were fantastic as well—the fish bites and roe were both great. It's a wonderful place with a nice ambience and excellent food. What more could you ask for.

Incredible! We visited Brighton and wanted to enjoy the taste of some fresh seafood, and luckily, we came by this restaurant. The impacible service and the cool atmosphere in this restaurant with its lovely open kitchen are so nice, but the big deal is the food. We had crab gnocchi and tempura monkfish for starters, and grilled salmon and a brill as main dishes. The gnocchi was one of the best I have ever had, and the salmon was incredible. Everything was delicious, fresh, elegantly plated and served with a smile.

Absolutely exquisite! Hidden away from the main streets, this gem boasts a large selection of fresh fish and seafood, great drinks and top-notch service! We opted for calamari and sea bream and were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and well-cooked the fish was, utmost grateful to Riddle & Finns team for making our dinner in Brighton a satisfying experience.

One of the nicest meals ive had in a while. will say the staff at the beach location were a little rude to me and my mum but coming to this location the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! the communal seatimg was intimidating at first but came to be something i really liked as we got chatting to the people around us and it made the experience and aptmosphere really nice. the food was great and will come back next time in brighton.
