“I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Miller & Carter! The food was incredible—every dish was prepared to perfection, with rich flavors and impeccable presentation. However, what truly made our visit special was the outstanding service we received from Fran. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. Fran’s warm and friendly demeanor made us feel so welcome, and her knowledge of the menu helped us make the best choices. Thank you, Fran, for making our evening unforgettable! My husband and I have just stopped for a meal before heading home from a day in Brighton. What a lovely experience. The food was fantastic as always but we were also blessed to have a lovely person serve us. Kim was excellent at handling our order, particularly as we both have nut allergies.She was quick and efficient, and very helpful. What a lovely, warm and gently spoken person. Thank you Kim.

Really liked my meal, in fact I loved it. My family and I loved the food and are definitely returning. Also I must say, I was amazed by how good the service was. We were served by a young lad called Josh and he was wonderful. Made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you Miller and Carter for the great meal.

Amazing. It's not cheap, but you pay for quality and excellence here. This is my second visit and both times have been phenomenal. Excellent staff on hand to serve you and the food is melt in the mouth You need to book to avoid disappointment. Sunday lunch available until 4pm but check the website. If you are having a sharing steak then go easy on the starters, unless you are very hungry or can eat loads. Will return.

Fantastic restaurant, always great quality, wonderful service.... Best chips and gorgeous chocolate mousse and of course great great steaks. Lovely wines too..... Perfect!!

Was an hour early for our lunch reservation, but the team were accommodating and welcoming. Came to celebrate my daughter's graduation and it was the perfect lunch to celebrate with.

THE HOUSE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

It is a cozy little restaurant with delicious food. I had the Sunday roast and was very yummy. English food with a French flair. The meat was tender, crispy roasted potato, perfectly roasted carrots and crunchy steamed green beans and the icing on cake was the gravy. The pint of beer was excellent.

Great food - recommend the signature beef wellington and fish of the day (sea bass) enough. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

Been living in Brighton 6 months and this was actually the best meal we have had here. Mussels were fresh, soft, tasty sauce and gorgeous bread. As were the prawns. Lunchtime steak deal also very good, steak was juicy and tasty, fries and veg also delicious, as was the peppercorn sauce and plenty of it! We had two cocktails at happy hour to wash it all down which were also v good! Service was spot on and great value for money. 100% will be back!! It is hidden around a little corner so look out for the signage.
