Absolutely love this restaurant. Customers sit in square tables of 16 with the chef in the centre of each table the food is prepared before your eyes. The chef always has a few tricks up his sleeves, such as flicking fried potatoes into guests mouths and a few fire tricks with oil. Atmosphere great, price decent and staff friendly.

Amazing place, the chefs put on a good show and make everyone at the table feel involved and happy before eating. Loved that we got to see the food being cooked in front of us. Portion sizes were huge, we ordered the king prawn noodles and also got potatoes, stir fry veg & egg fried rice included in the meal which we wasn’t expecting to.

Very good experience, will go back. The portions are big, but you can take whatever you can't eat home. Chefs table is the best, 1hr-40 min wait as they need the table to fill up with people. Excellent service. Chefs are friendly and so entertaining, lovely atmosphere.

2nd visit here after years.... and still a really good place. Our chef was really nice, and staff helpful and kind, they song together happy birthday for me as well. Only a minor mistake on my order.... but they menage it. Also my daughter 5 y.o. enjoy the food and the experience!

One of my favorite restaurants in Manchester, we visit every time we are in the city. The restaurant describes itself as having "no gimmicks or tricks" and I find that to be true. All in all, the experience here is more relaxing compared to other teppanyaki restaurants, making it a perfect date night spot. The staff are always friendly and polite and it is delightful to watch your food be cooked right in front of you!

Unbelievable, everything was perfect, the waiter seated us even though we didn't have a reservation. The chef was nice and did a very nice show for us for a good price. I can recommend this place to everyone and I hope to be able to return.

MAKI & RAMEN REVIEWS

One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to! The food and drinks were fantastic, the staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Highly recommended. I went for lunch during the week and only waited about 10 minutes. It’s not the cheapest place, but definitely worth it. Don’t miss the coconut mocktail and sushi, they were a highlight.

This ramen shop is amazing! The noodles are soft and perfectly cooked, the broth is rich and flavorful, and the meat is tender. The service is friendly, and the whole place gives off an authentic Japanese vibe.

We would highly recommend Maki & Ramen. The service was totally friendly and courteous. We ordered 2 ramen and sushi, it was delicious!! It's also nice that every new guest is welcomed by a drum beat. Can't wait to come again.
