The Wharf is an excellent pub for morning coffee, lunch, and dinner. As with other Brunning and Price pubs it also has on the website a walk designed to give you an appetite for your food. The food is a very high quality and service is generally of a good standard. In addition, there is a good selection of real ales available. A real traditional English pub. A big recommend.

The hotel is in the northern quarter, which is a great area of Manchester for bars and restaurants. It's very close to the center of town and Piccadilly station, so is easy to get to. Our room was very comfortable and clean, the shower was great and it was nice and quiet overnight. The staff in the bar and behind reception were all friendly and helpful. The city guide and 'newspaper' in the room were a nice touch and gave us some tips on places to visit.
