OCEAN TREASURE REVIEWS

I've been dining at this restaurant for over ten years and I've always enjoyed the food and experience. It's quite authentic Chinese food and atmosphere, with both an English and Chinese menu available. The staff are usually quite nice and always smiling, but sometimes are very busy. Downstairs they have a market, where you can get many Chinese ingredients which you can't find in Tesco. Overall I'd recommend this restaurant to people who are a little familiar with Chinese food and tradition.

Lobster with ginger and spring onion, steamed turbot, and the roasts dishes were spot on. These old-time canto restaurants are harder to find now and I'm so pleased this place is still on top of its game.

I was impressed by the restaurant‘s decoration (mainly Cantonese, HK style). You will find a wide range of dishes, not just seafood. I particularly like the soya source chicken and spring onion beef. Some other dishes especially seafood would taste better if the ingredients are fresher. Good experience overall and would recommend if you fancy authentic Chinese food.

Second time visiting and did not disappoint! Food is great, staff are friendly and accommodating. First time ordered the Jimmy Sizzler and spicy red soup, but really the highlight is the prawns which is fun to devour a mountain of in a group. The second time we got the 50 prawns platter (enough for 4 people) in extra spicy which did have a kick to it and spice built up the more we ate. Loaded fries were good and very cheesy but not something I would order again. The passionfruit lemonade was refreshing and not overly sweetened and artificial tasting which I would highly recommend. They also have prayer room. Will definitely be back, and would highly recommend going with friends and family for a special meal out.

Amazing food! Was in town for a Take That concert and our hotel Holiday Inn Express recommended we check this place out. Glad they did. Best seafood. I thought I found the best in London but nothing beats this place. Great place to check out if your in UK and can get over to Manchester. From a Canadian fan.

Enjoyed eating here. Service was good and so was the portion size. Took 2 of us to finish the paella. Will try one of the platters next time as they did look good.

Had my Mother’s Day lunch at this lovely restaurant today staff are very friendly ( especially the guy who is Italian and can speak Cantonese) and the seafood were so delicious highly recommend this place.

5 stars all the way! A true hidden gem in Manchester for seafood lovers Great food, very decent staff, and lovely ambience The scallops are out of this world. Perfect cooking. Texture The grilled seafood platter is amazing Enjoyed every single bite of it.

Absolutely delicious food and amazing friendly service from our server Oli. Very attentive. Every dish was fresh, tasty and piping hot. My new favourite in Manchester. Will come again on my next visit.
