MOOSE COFFEE REVIEWS
Lovely homemade dishes and good service. Nice coffee too! Get there early for breakfast to beat the rush. We had the Mexican one and one with hash, which was nice. It was supposed to come with steak but they run out so swapped with bacon. It was fine, but less Canadian and more like an English fry up. Would definitely revisit though! The other dishes being served also looked great. Thanks.
Psa that this review is written in comparison to Moose from 2016! We tried again the other week, in fact we try every year, to see if something has changed. The portions are generous and the techniques are fantastic (best scrambled eggs of my life) but something changed in 2016 and the food turned bland. It used to be so tasty that my mouth would water, the manolito was actually seasoned with refried beans and lime, and it tastes like a diluted version of itself now. Even the hollandaise, it used to be tangy and delicious and it just tastes mild now. waiting for an hour six years ago was worth it but not anymore, the food needs more flavor.
On a solo trip to Manchester, and I was visiting museums etc and googled best place for brunch, and Moose was just around the corner. I love the idea that you can get a half & half Benedict style, which was fantastic. And the coffee, service and atmosphere were great too. Will be coming again when I next visit!!

FEDERAL CAFE BAR REVIEWS
Best brunch in Manchester! Such a cosy little cafe with exceptional coffee and food. I ordered a cappuccino and it’s the best I’ve ever had. The homemade granola was absolutely delicious too. Service was incredible. Well worth a visit.
Worth the Sunday morning queue. 5 of us visited and all enjoyed different breakfast dishes. I went for the Turkish Eggs and a Hazelnut Latte, absolutely delicious. We even ordered the special which was french toast for us all to share after. The queue is long but if you have the time, I definitely recommend waiting.
We ordered the steak sandwich and the avocado eggs benedict on sourdough toast with smoked salmon - both were really delicious and fresh! Drinks were just average (we ordered a batch brew and a cold Milo milk drink); although, my husband tried the flat white at the Oxford Road branch the day before and said it was one of the best flat whites he has had. Knocked off one star as was difficult to access with a pram up the two steps and there was no baby changing facilities. Staff were really lovely and efficient!

THE KOFFEE POT REVIEWS
This place is well worth a visit. Good vibes and excellent, friendly service. Quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. A touch pricey - the Irish Fry is £12.50 and my local café 'Big Breakfast' is £8.00 but I guess that's the difference between city centre and leafy village. Looking forward to the next visit.
When you fancy a late full English breakfast, or even an early one, you cannot go far wrong at The Koffee Pot on Oldham Street. Fast friendly service, super clean, poppy modern vibe. The food was piping hot and exactly what you would expect. Branded sauces, sugar in a jar on the table, not stupid sachets of anything. If you're visiting and want proper English old school cafe style, with a modern twist, call in.
A really great breakfast experience all-round! Great service and a really nice atmosphere. Dinner style cafe. I took the Manc Muffin which was a muffin with sausage, egg, bacon and hashbrown. So tasty. Great coffee and everyone else I was with loved it too. Ideal for brunch / breakfast.
