CHEZ MAL MANCHESTER REVIEWS

Everything was lovely for myself and three friends for afternoon tea and fizz, from booking directly over the phone, to being shown to our table early and having a drink, being allowed to slightly change the order on the day and the endless supply of tea or coffee, nothing was too much trouble and the waiting staff were polite friendly and accommodating. The booth we had was comfortable and the range of food we had as part of the afternoon tea was delicious and much better than the usual finger sandwiches. I particularly enjoyed the very tasty mini burger and the fried chicken morsel with sweet chilli sauce. I would very much recommend Mal Maison bar and grill and for the price we got it for (on offer 2 for 1 deal) it was a steal! I would definitely go back and do this again. Thank you for helping two of us celebrate our birthdays in style!

Service was amazing. They were very attentive to my friend who has a food allergy. We got there at 6:40pm but got a train to catch at 8. They sped up the service and we were out by 7:40pm. Steaks superb, Caesar can’t be faulted, and chips to die for.

Despite a very last minute reservation on an unusually busy Sunday night due to ManChester City vs. Arsenal over Easter weekend the maitre d’ was able to accommodate us. Food and service were excellent. Loved the atmosphere and the cocktails were great. Great place for a night out.

This was a first time visit and the meal was lovely. Me and my mum shared olives and the baguette with dips. Then we had a roast dinner and ice cream/sorbet selection for dessert. The staff were wonderful and made my mum feel very special on her birthday. Highly recommend and we would definitely go again.

Excellent food here. As a French couple going to French restaurant abroad (weird, no?) we loved the food in this restaurant. We had the tomato and courgette tart, then my wife had the vegetable tian and I had the bouillabaisse. All very good. And the rhubarb tea was a great discovery!

Food is amazing as usual, tried the duck leg this time,it's very rich and delicious. The place has plenty of seats and not too busy when we visited. As they are inside the hotel, the parking spaces are shared with hotel customers, it is limited and can end up a bit away from the restaurant.

We enjoy going out. Yesterday we found this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a lovely experience there with a delicious meal and a well-trained crew and an impressive cook. We added this place to our phone list and we shall definitely visit again soon. We deeply recommend it.

This place is something else!!! we have eaten at restaurants with a star and the food and dining experience here is so much better such a lovely dining room, food comes out at a nice pace, and it put of this world..... already booked to come back!

I love this restaurant! The food is always beautiful, the staff are excellent and professional but also friendly. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and choose excellent pairing wines for our meal.
