It tasted surprisingly delicious! It’s unusual to find an actual nice fish and chips in the city, but this was exceptional. I had to resist going back in and ordering another after finishing the first.

The cod fish & chips were really good. Crispy even when I took it out and had it about 10-15mins later. There’s some seats available in the store too. The gentleman running the place is helpful and the place is clean and welcoming. Great for a quick meal.

Big taste from a small place! Mainly takeout area with a few seats around the outside of the room where you can sit and enjoy your tasty and generous portion of fish and chips.

Great food, especially for kids. They also have some great milkshakes to choose from too. The staff are always friendly and even offered to help when another customer was struggling to read from the menu, very lovely! Highly reccomend if you are craving something simple, filling and tasty.

The best fish and chips I've had for ages, ride past this place every day and now I know why the queue goes half way down the block on a Friday, perfect fish and chips.

Nice friendly staff and massive portions for a cheap price , medium chips will easy feed two and a large would feed half an army.

We went for a working lunch and I really was surprised by the professionalism of the ladies and the food too. Lovely light batter on the fish. They have a large variety too and good space too. Will be back soon.

Done right. Cod in crispy non-fatty batter. Mushy peas with a snack of vinegar Cod lovely and fresh and moist. Convivial, great non-intrusive service and reasonably priced. Will go back.

Batter Platter was just what I needed, great selection and cooked to perfection. Take away was booming and the staff where professional and courteous. For a high end chippy it ticked the boxes, but if you're looking for some scrappy chips then head elsewhere.
