THE OLD DUKE REVIEWS
My first time visiting Bristol and as someone who enjoys the live music scene (particularly jazz and blues), I have two say that The Old Duke is a must visit. The atmosphere is super friendly with everyone there for a good time and just wanting to hear the music. Also enjoyed the alfresco extension out the front allowing you to sit outside on a warm summer evening whilst still hearing the acts playing. A must visit when you’re in town!
What a great little pub. We were drawn in by the live band, it was like being in New Orleans. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, think they have live music on most days of the week.
Absolutely outstanding 2 or 3 hours spent at the Old Duke with friends and a fine array of drinks and good music. The atmosphere was superb. I didn't eat, but I had 2 or 3 drinks, along with a few snacks from the bar.

THE APPLE REVIEWS
Love this place. Amazing selection of proper cider. Lots of outdoor seating by the river. It can get very busy, but it's a great place for people watching. If you're in Bristol and want to try some local ciders, this place is an essential visit.
If you love proper cider, you'll love The Apple! A great selection from Dry to Sweet (it's easy to see which is which as the cider menu boards have a helpful indicator).
Proper Cider Boat. After a few Strong Bristolians (which are only served as a half pint) bobbing on the river, my head does go a little doolally! Good bar, definitely something different, and would 100% recommend to an tourist looking to try something that really represents Bristol!

The Hole in the Wall is a distinguished pub, bar, and restaurant that boasts its charming garden, conveniently situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Bristol. Whether you visit The Hole in the Wall in Bristol for a pint, a glass of wine, or a delightful three-course meal, you'll depart with a contented smile. Steeped in history and overflowing with character, this chic pub, bar, and restaurant derives its name from a secret peephole that allowed 18th-century sailors and smugglers to keep a lookout for customs officials and press gangs. Consequently, The Hole in the Wall became a prime recruitment location for the Navy, and individuals would awaken at sea after a night of revelry. In the present day, this premium establishment is celebrated for offering a delectable array of high-quality cuisine and an extensive selection of wines, lagers, and real ales in truly exceptional surroundings.

THE HOLE IN THE WALL REVIEWS
We had an amazing experience here. The food and the ambience is amazing. The staff is friendly, cooperative and courteous. We were served by Fin who is very apt, friendly and has a positive persona. Thank you Fin and Chef Adam for a scrumptious meal and a great experience. My family and I had a lovely time and I would surely like to visit this place again.
Came to Bristol for weekend holiday. Amazing Suday Roast. I had duo beef roast which was very tender and tasty. Gravy was super delicious too. Very friendly and amazing service. Liked the vibe of the place. Would love to come back again.
Saw this place while taking a walk, & I loved the name & outdoor vibes. Came back later in the evening with a friend, & it was an instant hit. I am a huge fan of music, and the playlist was amazing, they had Bose speakers(good taste!). Got a couple of cocktails that were really good. We went inside for a bit & I really liked the seating & lighting too.
