Craig Cizic is the restaurant manager, and Hubert Biela is the Head Chef. The team takes great pride in the taste and quality of every dish and caters to a range of dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan options. They also offer hot tapas for takeaway every day from their Goodramgate location. Their menu is inspired by seasonal ingredients, traditional Spanish cuisine, and fresh ideas from their staff's trips to Spain. The restaurant also serves vegan dishes, offers Wi-Fi facilities, and provides dining and high chairs.

2025 Update: Lunch Menu and Sunday Tapas are available. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities are located on the ground floor.”

Very busy but squeezed us in at short notice. Had to wait a while but food cooked to order - lots of choice and delicious pizzas. Great view of Clifford's Tower.

A great dining experience in the Olive Tree in York. I ordered the Fish mixed grill and it was delicious and came with both Seabass and Salmon. The staff were friendly and attentive and even the chef came to the table and asked me how my meal was. A fish main course, a side and a drink for just over £30.00, great value too.

Food was delicious but the starter was massive and left little room for our main course. Will definitely share one on a return visit.+

Service was brilliant, and quick! The man working at the shop was so kind and after telling him about my long journey home, he gave me a cake, despite only having paid for a latte. I recommend stopping in by Lebaneat if you are in York train station.

Absolutely sensational! Got off the train after an extremely long day and headed over for a snack, extremely friendly welcome could do everything on the menu with a gluten free version and their garlic sauce is to DIE FOR!

Just had lunch here before our train home after a weekend in York and this is quite possibly my favourite meal so far! Absolutely delicious and lovely, friendly service.

If you looking for a Spanish tapas place to eat in York, this is one of the best place. Recommend to book table especially on weekend as it’s busy. Food is amazing all the dishes we had so delicious. Staffs are so friendly and happy to service you. Good vibes. The portion of each dish not to big so you can try few menu. Price is valuable and affordable. We fished all the dishes and definitely will come back.

Fantastic tapas! My wife and I ate here on our first of two nights in York and would have happily had another visit if we’d been staying longer. We had about six tapas dishes between us, all of which were superb, likewise the sangria and sherry! It’s a beautifully presented restaurant set over two floors. The staff were excellent.

Came as a walk-in for a last minute date night and they sat us straight down, our server Caleb was, we both agreed, one of the best servers we’ve ever had! He was so personable and just had a great vibe, so easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable straight away. Food was also incredible, we ordered about 6 dishes and it was the perfect amount for us two. Highly recommend the salmon and smoked haddock croquettes, the battered goats cheese and the braised beef short rib! All really reasonably priced too, perfect for date night.
