Great place, lovely decor which gives a lovely feel and nice atmosphere to the place. The food was excellent, I've only given it a 4 as their pancakes weren't as fluffy and a bit stodgy. Other than that, it was lovely. The staff are absolutely fantastic, a warm welcome and nothing but politeness and so attentive. Definitely go back again.

I wanted to try a proper full English breakfast, my expectations were suppressed but turns out i was quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of food; and the recommendations (I tried HP sauce on the meat) and affable service made this a 10 out of 10 breakfast experience.

Everything was great! Everyone is really kind and the food and drinks are excellent.

Booked up for the wife's 40th. Greeted immediately by friendly staff, and even though we were 20 mins early, the table was ready for us. Decor was modern, striking and bright. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We had Slow roasted duck leg which was fantastic, perfectly roasted and seasoned beautifully, and the Chicken Schnitzel with a roasted tomato sauce which was breaded superbly and served with a side of buttered jersey royals. All the food was expertly cooked, and stunning in its presentation. A complimentary cake was brought out for the wife, and we had Chocolate set custard with Liquorice ice cream, which was a revelation! Can't recommend enough. Looking forward to returning next time we're in York. 5 star.

If you are looking for a special place to eat, with great views of the river, excuisite food and attentive staff, this is the place to be! Although we were an hour late for our reservation the staff fitted us in immediately, and from beginning to end to had the best service, especially from Sebastian and Luminita. Food was out of this world and the athmosphere was cosy and inviting. Definitely worth a try if you are in York.

Lovely luncheon today, scallops in risotto are delicious, the other courses were equally delicious, & the drinks too. Outstanding, friendly service from Victoria! The vibe & view from the terrace is lovely. Will certainly be returning! Highly recommended. Steve & Sue from Brayton.

Stunning breakfast. We had a voucher and we went for our anniversary. What a delightful experience. The staff were amazing and very attentive. Good was also beautiful too. We even got a surprise for celebrating our anniversary. Thank you to all the team for a fantastic experience! We enjoyed it so much we went back for drinks in the afternoon. Thank you for a special day.

Booked the restaurant for our wedding anniversary. On arrival met by very friendly staff and a glass of Champagne. a wide range of menu choices.food was absolutely delicious, and staff gave us a complimentary dessert. Great ambience and decoration. would thoroughly recommend thank you.

Had lunch here today with a cocktail, and it was fantastic. The service was absolutely amazing, no wait, really, for the food or drink. Very happy.
