The drink menu includes premium sake, wine, draft Japanese beer, shochu, and Japanese tea. The restaurant accepts walk-ins. All tables are reserved for 1.5 to 2 hours and will be held for only 15 minutes past the reservation time.”

Extensive menu with so much delicious authentic Japanese food, something to please everyone whether you love meat or vegetables! Friendly service, nice decor and atmosphere.

It’s been the first time I have ever been to I’ll and I personally love it. The menu holds a lot of variety and all 3 of our meals looked gorgeous and from my own experience, mine tasted just as good as it looked.

What a fab find! Food was incredible. Had a wide choice with a great selection. Great place. Food was fresh and tasty! Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience at Motto Sushi Bar in York. The atmosphere was warm, calm, and welcoming, kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, beautifully presented, and full of rich flavors. Portions were generous and surprisingly filling. We couldn’t even finish everything, and the staff kindly offered to pack the rest for us to take away which we happily did. If I’m ever back in York, there’s no doubt I’ll be heading straight to Motto again. It’s not just a great meal, it’s a place you want to return to. Thank you.

My partner and I came here for our lunch, restaurant is beautiful. The food was phenomenal as well. I ordered the seafood ramen. The service was amazing. If I'm ever in York again I'll definitely be back here.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Motto Sushi tonight. We loved the vibrant atmosphere and food that was served to us tonight which was, with no doubt, delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

Had lunch there on a day out in York. The ingredients were really fresh for an independent restaurant like this one and tasted very good. The choices were adequate, dishes well presented thanks to the chefs. Services was faultless, would highly recommend the Sashimi rice bowl!

Highly recommend for the freshest sushi around. We dined as a family of 4 and the service was efficient and we all loved our meals. There is lots of variety on the menu so we chose one of the platters and got the kids the chicken noodles which they loved.

Amazing find for some lunch on a weekend away, Sushi was all freshly prepared and tasted awesome the char sui pork is highly recommend. All staff were very friendly and welcoming and helped make an already amazing experience even better, highly recommend.
