THE WORLD'S END REVIEWS
Service here was lovely. While I was up in Scotland I wanted to try my first Whiskey. The guy on the bar was only too happy to walk me through all the differences in notes and allow me to smell all the corks. Settled on one from Edinburgh as it felt right being in the place. There are places to sit inside and out and they also seem to have a very good smelling menu. Can't complain one bit.
Reservations are a must, as we saw several people who had wandered in turned away. The fish and chips were very very good, and so was the steak and ale pie. My partner LOVED the sticky toffee pudding. I had the apple pie and it was not overly sweet and came out piping hot. The ambiance is cozy, with the lights dimmed in the small restaurant. It was a good meal in Edinburgh that wasn't overly expensive. We would definitely eat here again next time we visit the city.
Know before you go: YOU NEED RESERVATIONS. With that being said, LOVED this place. Started out with a recommended Thistly Cross Traditional cider. Yum!! Light and crisp! Ordered Steak and Ale pie as well as Haggis Pie. Food was out in about 3 minutes and was piping hot! Flavorful and perfect portions. DEFINITELY recommend!

THE LAST DROP REVIEWS
We loved the starters; highly recommended. Everything was very good. We had Scottish beers too, and they were also very good. We also ordered hamburgers, but they were just okay, nothing special for us. The place had a nice history and nice decoration. :)
The food was marvelous! I ate every drop and so did all of my party. Our server took our orders without needing to write anything down and brought it to our table seemingly immediately. We met multiple other servers who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm, we were blessed with a little band of gentlemen performing live while we were there.
Classic Scottish pub, amazing environment around the whole pub, typical band Scottish music 10/10, the restrooms where clean at all but its a pub at the end lol.

THE HOLYROOD 9A REVIEWS
My friend and I just had a nice dinner here. As a vegetarian I am always interested in unique vegetarian dishes and the veggie haggis caught my eye. Now just to be clear, even if I ate meat I would not touch haggis but I wanted to try the veggie and it was quite good. I can't compare it to real haggis but this was basically a decent veggie-style burger dressed with some slightly spicy mayo and fried onions. Good but not amazing. Service was great - Elena greeted us nicely at the door and handled our orders. My friend had a margarita (yes I know it is weird to come to Scotland and order a margarita but he said it was very good and had another. He got two small plates - the moz and tom salad and nachos and it was all good. I would recommend this place. Nice atmosphere inside, not too loud.
My wife and I visited there few times. There was very good comfortable pub. All staffs were very kind. My wife loved the tasting of local beers! The foods were also very good. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you!
Dinner was excellent. Best burger we had in Scotland. The dessert was fantastic. We all shared the Banofee Pie and Sticky toffee pudding. Delicious! Also a nice laid back atmosphere. They also had a few good options for Non-Alcoholic beers.
